Visual dialogue between two women Päivi Lundvall and Mirja Nuutinen. Päivi’s and Mirja’s individual artworks are forming a visual dialogue. Behind the artworks are an ecologist and an artist, who during a long friendship have been united by an interest in nature and art. Nature has always been number one in their values, and human being only one among other species. The authors are particularly interested in the cycle of life, both in nature and especially in a woman’s life. The perspective is feminine: emotion-based, intuitive, and holistic. The ecologist photographs expressively rather than documenting. The artist describes the process with photographs, paintings and drawings, as well as combined collages of these. Life goes on with the continuum of several births and deaths. All artworks are for sale.
